Khartoum: August 24, 2026 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Finance has signed a contract with the Animal Resources Bank at the ministry's headquarters in Khartoum, integrating the bank into the government's electronic collection and payment system, "E-Isaly".
The agreement was signed by Mr. Al-Tayeb Al-Sadiq, Director General of the National Accounts Chamber, representing the Ministry of Finance, and Dr. Kamal Tubi, Deputy General Manager, representing the Animal Resources Bank.
Key Terms of the Agreement
Under the contract, the Animal Resources Bank commits to providing banking products, services, and electronic collection and payment solutions to the Ministry of Finance. This will enable the ministry to deposit and collect government service fees electronically, in line with international technical standards and the regulations of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS).
The bank will leverage its technical infrastructure, digital channels, branches, and personnel to collect national revenues and deposit them directly into the ministry's account held at the bank.
Advancing Digital Transformation
Eng. Lamia Mohamed Al-Nour, Director General of the General Administration of Information Technology and Head of the Technical Committee for the "E-Isaly" system at the ministry, emphasized that this signing aligns with the government's broader strategy for digital transformation and public finance reform.
She noted that 24 out of 38 operating banks have successfully signed agreements to integrate with the "E-Isaly" system so far. These banks met the technical criteria and conditions required by the Central Bank of Sudan to facilitate electronic collection and payment procedures for citizens.
